We are the Orientation Team Leaders, also know as the OTLs, and we are excited to meet you as you begin your educational pursuits at Tech. We work hard and spend immense amounts of time throughout the year planning Orientation. We look forward to this fall and can't wait for your arrival!!

Our team represents a wide range of students from across campus. Four students serve as the Orientation Executive Staff, planning Orientation throughout the year headed by the Assistant Director of COMPASS (the Center for Orientation, Mentoring, Parents, and Academic Student Success). A student staff of 73 OTLs will be ready to welcome you when you arrive this fall. Some of the OTLs will have just completed their first year of college, some are upperclassmen, and others have transferred to Michigan Tech from other institutions. They have lived on campus, at home with family, off campus with friends, in other countries, and in fraternity and sorority houses. They are from all academic majors across campus. They have played broomball, served in student government, and provided many hours of community service. And now they are here to help YOU!
