Las Vegas, NV, is my hometown, but I have lived in seven different places during my life.

Undergraduate Major?
I am a third year double major in Computer and Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Photonics and with focuses in Wireless Communications, Controls, and Computer Systems.

What student organization are you currently involved with?
I am currently involved with Sigma Tau Gamma National Fraternity, the Orientation Executive Staff, Leadershape graduate, University Judicial Committee, Academic Integrity Committee, Circle K International, a member of the Greek Relationship Statement Taskforce, and I am a computer science learning center coach. I am also a former Undergraduate Student Government representative.

Why did you decide to become involved with the Orientation program?
Orientation has given me opportunities to become more involved and meet many great people.

What is your favorite thing to do at Michigan Tech?
I love getting involved with campus. I have tried to diversify myself by taking on as many different challenges and new experiences that I possibly can. These experiences have helped shape me into the accomplished individual that I am today.

What was your favorite class that you have ever taken?
Computer Organization has been my favorite class so far. It was the first class where I felt that I was doing something "related to my major." It was a lot of work, and it made me feel smart. And...I got an A.

Any advice for new students?
When a professor gives you an assignment, start it right away to avoid getting behind. Also, live your life with integrity and hold others accountable for their actions.
