2009-2010 Tech Guide
If you have paid your Michigan Tech enrollment deposit, you should be receiving a copy of the Tech Guide in the mail the week of March 16, 2009.
Congratulations on your acceptance to Michigan Tech! You are preparing for one of life’s most exciting transitions, and many important details require your attention. The Tech Guide highlights the things you need to do before you arrive and hopefully will answer many of the questions you may already have. This guide provides information on everything from housing and financial aid to course scheduling, Orientation, and more. We’ve provided you with a week-by-week calendar to give you all the important dates you need to create the future at Michigan Tech. We’ve also included helpful hints, telephone numbers, websites, and some insight from current Tech students.

When you see the symbol to the left, it indicates an important date or action item that you should complete. You don’t want to miss a thing, so please read this guide carefully. You can also download the Tech Guide in PDF format here. Please note: it may take a moment to download and open due to the size of the file.
If you have questions, please call COMPASS (the Center for Orientation, Mentoring, Parents, and Academic Student Success) at 1-888-688-1885 or compass@mtu.edu. We're here to help.
