Sibling Orientation

While parents attend Parent Orientation sessions, siblings can have their own fun and exciting Orientation experience! Summer Youth Programs and COMPASS team up to sponsor Sibling Orientation: The College Experience for Siblings. Sibling Orientation will take place on Sunday, August 23 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Please note, check-in begins at 9:30 a.m.

Younger siblings of Michigan Tech's first-year students will be placed into groups based on the grade level they will enter in Fall 2009 : Middle School (grades 6-8) or High School (grades 9-12).


Staff and current Michigan Tech students will guide participants through teambuilding, engaging hands-on projects, and creative explorations. The cost for participation in the program is $25.00 and includes participation in group projects, all supplies, lunch and snacks. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Siblings can be registered online by selecting the appropriate link below or by calling the Rozsa Box Office at 906-487-3200.
